A Japanese resort hotel that blends the functionality of a hotel with the informality of a ryokan

Established in October 2006, Hotel Hana-An combines the best of a western-style hotel with the best of a Japanese onsen ryokan, providing a balance of privacy and informality.

All guest rooms offer magnificent views of Lake Chuzenji.
Situated at the head of the lake and not far from the bus stop, Kegon Falls, souvenir shops and excursion boat pier, the hotel is an ideal sightseeing base.

open-air baths

Both the men’s and women’s public baths offer indoor and open-air baths. The alkali simple thermal spring water in the indoor bath is from Nikko Wanoshiro Onsen and is beneficial for the skin.

The open-air bath contains sulphurous spring water drawn directly from Okunikko Yumoto.

A leisurely soak in the hot spring bath will relieve tiredness and stress and leave you feeling refreshed and smooth-skinned. If you do not wish to use the public bath, you can relax in the large bathtub in your private bathroom.
